...All about Triple Play...

KELLY KADLEC
* * * * * * * * * * * *
Piano, Vocals, Guitar, Songwriter

Kelly began studying piano performance at the age of 6.  At 16 she was already playing professionally in the lounge of the Intercontinental Hotel.  She supported herself through college by performing in a renowned convention show band call the "Castle Family".  After graduation, she was musical director and performer with Bob 101 FM's "best country band in the Twin Cities",  Mary Sue England.  A published writer, she writes corporate songs and jingles for corporate clients, and is proficient in both musically pre-scoring and post-scoring video.

Kelly adds original songs to Triple Play's repertoire, original vocal and musical arrangements to Triple Play's sound, and a high-energy performance night-after-night.

MARY JO PEARSON

Guitar, Vocals

As winner of talent shows from Benton to Isanti County, Mary Jo brings a down-home charm to the group. OK, everyone's mother thinks that their child has a beautiful voice, but Mary Jo was encouraged to sing professionally by so many people, she finally listened. And anyone who has heard her sing with Triple Play is glad she did.

Mary Jo is a self-taught guitarist who fills out Triple Play's instrumental sound beautifully. Her vocal performance on ballads can move audiences to tears, and her "sassy" songs will make you want to stand up and sing along. But don't tell her how great she is or she'll just blush.

ANITA SPADING

Vocals, Percussion, Harmonica

Anita grew up surrounded by music and entertainment. She and her four sisters loved singing so much they would croon the time away every night while doing the dishes. Growing up in a house full of women, it's no surprise that she is right at home with Triple Play.

Anita's first singing performance was at her sister Cindy's high school choir - at four years old! She went on to attain vocal achievements as a member of the Minnesota All State Choir, Minnesota All State Soloist and 2nd place winner of a State French Vocal/Reading Competition - all within a particular year never to be disclosed! Anita has such a strong stage presence that she continues to land key roles in musicals.

She played percussion in school, and when Kelly and Mary Jo found out, they quickly outfitted her with shakers for her left hand, tambourines for her right hand, wood blocks to kick with her feet and introduced her to the challenges of the harmonica for around her neck. And the most amazing thing about all this is that she can still sing.
